Why do we need this?
We have to preach by example. We noticed that we should raise the bar for ourselves with both, the little things and the big stuff, that make us live sustainably.
What will we do?
We will commit to a topic each month and implement sustainable behaviour on the work floor.
We will inspire each other on the topic by in-house specialists or friends and will report on how we live our commitments, and on the results.
This is the action list!
JANUARY: WE FIGHT WASTE
Target: become a waste-free company.
Measure: reduce KG sorted waste with ½ and unsorted waste with 80%.
FEBRUARY: WE FIGHT FOOD WASTE
Target: have at least 2 lunches a week with saved food.
MARCH: WE JOIN THE VEGAN REVOLUTION
Target: have the team vegan during the action period and reduce meat consumption of the team with 30%.
APRIL: WE MOVE MORE AND DO IT COLLECTIVELY
Target: to move 10 minutes a day.
Measure: we participate in city run collectively.
MAY: WE BOOST BIODIVERSITY
Target: to enrich biodiversity in office garden.
Measure: flower beds, installed bee & insect hotels, and bird-feeders in our garden.
JUNE: WE EMBRACE GREEN MOBILITY
Target: Wannes, Bouke & Christoph have 3 days without cars during action period, and one day less after the action period.
We guarantee a bicycle for everyone.
JULY: WE WORK IN A MORE INCLUSIVE COMPANY
Target: we actively listen more to our diversity of personalities & embrace our different cultures, by sharing & learning.
OCTOBER: WE REFOREST
Target: we plant trees with Weforest & we organise a planting action with the team during the week of the forest.
